In the sci-fi psychological thriller Mindscape, 16-year-old Rey is thrust into a high-stakes mission when her best friend falls into a catatonic state, the latest victim of a predatory entity known as a Mal-aware—a sentient parasite that feasts on human consciousness. To save her, Rey must venture into the mindscape, a shadowy and twisted realm where reality and illusion blur, and her own fears prowl, waiting to strike.
Inside, nothing is as it seems. Every step she takes pulls her deeper into a labyrinth of her darkest thoughts, where her own Mal-aware demon surfaces, manifesting her insecurities and doubts in terrifying, visceral forms. With time slipping away, Rey faces an impossible choice: confront the nightmares clawing at her mind or risk losing her friend—and herself—to the consuming void of the mindscape. But as each shadow grows sharper, and each whisper becomes a scream, Rey realizes that in the mindscape, even survival may come at a deadly cost.
